Sufi-Movement Germany

The Sufi-Movement in Germany was founded in 1925.  It spread rapidly, particularly due to several visits by Inayat Khan to various cities such as Berlin, Munich and Dresden.  Soon after the 'Third Reich' commenced, official activities had to cease.  This was due to the fact that Sufism did not follow the basic principles of their menifsto, but stated that Jews had equal rights. However Sufi activities carried on in secrecy.  In 1983 the Sufi-Movement was formally recognised and continues to be functional following the purpose of bringing the Sufi-Message to humanity.
